LSR7 teacher given statewide world language award

Rachel Benson, a Pleasant Lea Middle School German Teacher, has been given the Distinguished World Language Educator Award by the Foreign Language Association of Missouri (FLAM).
She's being recognized as an outstanding Missouri educator who has significantly and positively impacted foreign language teaching and learning.
Benson will receive her award at FLAM's annual conference in November. Next, she moves on for consideration as the World Language Teacher of the Year at the regional level. That award is given in March.
