PLMS Raises $11,000 for Pro Deo Youth Center

The Pleasant Lea Middle School Cross Country team donated $11,000 to Pro Deo Youth Center after their annual Lap-a-thon fundraiser.
Coaches Kent Tipton and Jon Lassman presented the check at the youth center's meeting on Wednesday, November 9.
The Lap-a-thon fundraising event started in 2018, each runner is asked to seek pledges based on the number of laps they can run around the track. In total, the PLMS Cross Country Team has raised $37,770.79 for Pro Deo.
Pro Deo Youth Center is a local organization geared towards teens in high school, providing after-school and Friday night programming.
