Updated Car Rider Drop Off/Pick Up Procedure

New Traffic Pattern (updated August 2026)

Due to construction, our parent drop-off and pick-up procedures have changed this year. Please keep the following in mind: 

Cars: Enter using the new road off Persels on the south side of campus. Students will be dropped off on the south side of the building. Cars will then follow the designated route around campus and exit onto Tiger Terrace. The car rider doors will open at 8:05 am.

Buses: Buses will use the dedicated bus lane at the school’s main entrance.  Bus numbers, pick-up locations, and pick-up times will be available in PowerSchool under “Bus Information.” The bus rider doors will open at 8:10 am.

For student safety: Please follow the designated traffic route and do not drop students off on the street or at Pleasant Lea Elementary.

 We anticipate drop-off and pick-up may move a little slower during the first few days as everyone becomes familiar with the new traffic pattern.  Following the designated route will help us keep students safe and traffic moving as efficiently as possible.  Please review the PLMS Transportation Map for a visual of the new traffic pattern.  As construction continues, we will also share relevant information on our Construction Updates page.
